Sparganosis in pneumoconiosis complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis

Abstract
|

|
The patient was 57 years old Korean male, a coal miner who was admitted approximately one and half years ago. Diagnosis was silicosis complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis.
This case had nodular lesions of walnut to egg size that were found in subcutaneous tissues of the upper and lower chest wall of right side and the scrotum. Upon the surgical exploration, 4 sparganum were obtained from the lesions.
He had no history of eating raw snake, but he had drunk water in the mountain frequently.
